Happy New Year

I hope all my family and friends had a nice Christmas and New Year. Wow. It sure has been a long time since I've had a chance to update my blog. The past few months have been super busy but really fun too! There are so many changes going on in my life.

First, these hard white things keep popping into my mouth. I think they are for eating food, but I don't really do that yet so I just use them to chew on everything in sight. I have seven now and every time I get one my Mommy gets really excited and looks in my mouth a lot.

Then there was football season. What a great game! On Sundays my Mommy would dress me in a special outfit so I could watch my Daddy scream at the TV. Something about a bear, I don't know...


Then one day in October, for no apparent reason, my Mommy decides to dress me up like a flower and parade me around everywhere. First there was a party at my daycare. All my friends there were dressed weird too, I guess their Mommies were in on it as well.


Then we went over to my friend James' house. All my boyfriends were there and they were all dressed funny too. Then, we walked around the neighborhood asking people for candy. The weird thing is, I didn't get any of the candy, I think my Daddy ate it all!



Also in October, I was baptized. It was a little weird to be paraded around au naturale in front of everyone and then dunked in water.


The whole thing made me very tired...





After I woke up we had a nice party with all my family. Here is a picture of me with my Mommy and Daddy and my Nouno (that's Greek for godfather for all you non-Greeks). Don't I look thrilled with all the picture taking?





Finally Christmas. What a fun day that was! I went with my cousins and Aunties to see this big, old guy in a red suit. I sure am glad that we did because the next day he brought me lots of presents.

Christmas was also fun because I got to see all my family. We even went to visit my cousins in Baltimore and Grammy and Grandpa were there too.

I can do all sorts of new things. I've been really busy learning how to sit up, crawl, stand and I'm trying really hard to walk but I have to hold on to things and I still fall down a lot but I'm having lots of fun learning!

Wow. It's been a really long time since my last post and so much as happened. For starters I turned TWO! My Grammie and Gramps came into town and brought me a bike!! It's so much fun. I can't really work the pedals yet but Mommy pushes me and I'm learning to steer it. Then we had a birthday party with all my friends and family. I loved my fairy cake. I think Evan had too much fun at the party though because he fell asleep in the middle of it! Speaking of Evan, he is getting really big and doing so many new things. He stands up and crawls and he even eats real food now. Here he is standing up in his crib. As you can see, he gets really excited about this new skill. Now that it's summertime we do lots of fun things. Like going down the slide at the park... going on the swings... hanging at the zoo... wearing sunglasses... hanging at the beach in Michigan... and playing in the pool on the deck. Christmas!!

What a great Christmas we had! So many fun activities for Evan and I... Mommy took us to see Santa with our cousins. I was excited to see him but I didn't want to sit on his lap so I just waved and said hi to him. Afterwards we ate at Ed Debevic's where they gave me this cool hat to wear. Evan got to wear one too... Mommy took me to the museum to see pretty Christmas trees from around the world. Then we went to tea at the Peninsula with Yaiyai and my Theas and cousins. On Christmas Eve we hung our stockings for Santa. Here we are by the tree on Christmas Eve. We must have been very good this year because Santa left us a fun slide under the Christmas tree! We had fun opening all the great presents! I liked trying on my new clothes... and Evan liked playing with his new truck. I got new boots and so did Mommy. I'm 1!!!

Well, I am now officially a toddler. Last week I had my first birthday. Or should I say birthdays as there were multiple celebrations. First I got a present in the mail from my friends Garrett and Tucker. A Ball Popper toy! OMG- this is the most fun toy ever. It makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. I don't know what's funnier, the balls popping all over the place or my mom and dad scrambling to retrieve the balls to put them back in the machine. Check it out- Then I had a party with all my friends at school and I got to eat my first ever cupcake. YUM! This was a nice change from the chicken and peas and carrots that I usually eat. Then my Grammie and Grandpa came into town for my birthday and they brought me a big chair with my name on it and a nice doll. Then we had a big party with my family and all my friends.
