Too Busy to Blog
OMG! It has been soooo crazy around here!
The summer has just flown by. I have been so busy that I don't even have time to blog. Seriously, how bad is that? Where would we be without blogging? I don't know how they survived back in the 20th century. I don't think anyone talked to anyone else - ever. They never had email, blogging, texting, facebook - nothing. (that's so weird to even think of the 20th century, I mean, it was a whole century ago, people who were alive back then, are still around today - weird, right?)
Anyway, before I get too into my blog let me just get Sammy's cameo shot out of the way. He has been so nice to me since I got here, he just likes being around me.

In fact, lots of people like being around me. The older I get, the more I think that it's a good thing I'm here because I give these people something to do - and they love me for it. Look at this shot of my dad grinning like Cheshire cat:

And then my grandma and grandpa keep coming over just to see me. I think they live down the street because they just drive in like it's nothing, stay for a few days, then they're off to see my cousins.

Enough about other people, back to me (that's the only reason you're reading this, right? I thought so).
Check out some the new things I've been trying out. It's like I'm an adrenaline junkie or something, I just can't get enough of doing new and different activities.
I can sit in my highchair now:

And because I can do that, my parents let me eat whatever I want. No more formula-only diet for me, no way! I think I'm close to my own show on the Food Network now (then again - who isn't) it's like gourmet every day at my house - check out me eating mushy cereal that is the consistency of watery paste that I can barely swallow and get more on my bib, clothes, cheeks, hair, the counter, my hands, daddy's work clothes, mommy's hair, the floor, and Sammy.

Oh yeah, and my new favorite hobby - swimming! Well, more like sitting in my mom's lap and letting my feet dangle in the water. But just you wait, Michael Phelps' record is going down.

It's not all lounging around though, I exercise too. I can roll over now - front to back and back to front. Mommy keeps trying to catch me do it on video, but I'm too smart for her. Just a little patience and she gives up, turns the video camera off, and that's when I do it. This picture is the closest anyone has gotten to catching me roll over on camera.

Then, after swimming I always need a bath, which my mom and dad are always happy to provide. Decorum forbids me from showing anything but the following picture - after all, I am a lady.
