Sleep is Overrated

Alright, I know I haven't posted in like a month, but it has been crazy around here, I mean, my parents are such losers. Why do they need eight hours of sleep at night? It's so unfair, they get to do all the fun stuff like leave the house on their own and...walk. And all I do is lay in the crib, or in the stroller, or in the car seat, or in....

...sorry dozed off for a second

What was I saying? Oh yeah, my lame parents - I mean, you'd think they've never pulled an all-nighter in their life (I know for a fact that's not true). Take last night for example, I slept from 9:30 to 11, they should've taken a nap then. Why do I have to go back to sleep after that?
Look at this picture, I mean they don't even try anymore, they just sleep right next to me. I mean, really, I'm practically taking care of them.



Then, they just plop me down on the couch and let me sit there wondering if anyone is going to feed me or change me. I don't remember when this picture was taken, but they probably sat me there then went to sleep. I think I sat there for hours watching Ellen--its like child abuse, they didn't even give me a remote.


And if that's not enough, they let the dog watch me. Look at these pics, he's practically my main care giver.


I mean really, they're not putting their all into this. I think they thought "ooh, wouldn't it be great to have a kid" and now they're like "again? with the eating and the crying"

I don't know why they think it's so tough to take care of a baby. I'm not very big, I eat like 25 ounces of an all liquid diet - just 'cause I eat like 1.5 ounces at a time, every hour and 45 minutes, they make it sound soooo inconvenient.

LOOK! A GREEN WHALE! A GREEN WHALE! LOOK! LOOK!


Anyway, that's all I have to rant about right now. I guess I shouldn't complain too much - I look pretty comfortable in this picture:

Wow. It's been a really long time since my last post and so much as happened. For starters I turned TWO! My Grammie and Gramps came into town and brought me a bike!! It's so much fun. I can't really work the pedals yet but Mommy pushes me and I'm learning to steer it. Then we had a birthday party with all my friends and family. I loved my fairy cake. I think Evan had too much fun at the party though because he fell asleep in the middle of it! Speaking of Evan, he is getting really big and doing so many new things. He stands up and crawls and he even eats real food now. Here he is standing up in his crib. As you can see, he gets really excited about this new skill. Now that it's summertime we do lots of fun things. Like going down the slide at the park... going on the swings... hanging at the zoo... wearing sunglasses... hanging at the beach in Michigan... and playing in the pool on the deck. Christmas!!

What a great Christmas we had! So many fun activities for Evan and I... Mommy took us to see Santa with our cousins. I was excited to see him but I didn't want to sit on his lap so I just waved and said hi to him. Afterwards we ate at Ed Debevic's where they gave me this cool hat to wear. Evan got to wear one too... Mommy took me to the museum to see pretty Christmas trees from around the world. Then we went to tea at the Peninsula with Yaiyai and my Theas and cousins. On Christmas Eve we hung our stockings for Santa. Here we are by the tree on Christmas Eve. We must have been very good this year because Santa left us a fun slide under the Christmas tree! We had fun opening all the great presents! I liked trying on my new clothes... and Evan liked playing with his new truck. I got new boots and so did Mommy. We were so excited that we put them on right away over our pjs. Here we are in our new boots! I liked wearing my reindeer antlers... but Evan didn't like to wear his! ...

I'm 1!!!

Well, I am now officially a toddler. Last week I had my first birthday. Or should I say birthdays as there were multiple celebrations. First I got a present in the mail from my friends Garrett and Tucker. A Ball Popper toy! OMG- this is the most fun toy ever. It makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. I don't know what's funnier, the balls popping all over the place or my mom and dad scrambling to retrieve the balls to put them back in the machine. Check it out- Then I had a party with all my friends at school and I got to eat my first ever cupcake. YUM! This was a nice change from the chicken and peas and carrots that I usually eat. Then my Grammie and Grandpa came into town for my birthday and they brought me a big chair with my name on it and a nice doll. Then we had a big party with my family and all my friends.
